Mvmnt Method is…
↳ a cross-training program and community designed to keep athletes, performers, and every active body in between conditioned, resilient, and doing what they love for longer.
The program is individualized to optimize your training and achieve your goals through:
Training
With a wide variety of different training styles, session durations, and intensities, you’ll be able to create a well rounded routine to compliment your current training and advance your performance goals.
Nutrition
A non-restrictive, balanced approach through education and actionable steps to keep you properly fueled and feeling good both before, during, and after your training sessions.
Support
Through community and personal accountability to your trainer via check-ins and 1-on-1 sessions, we’ll keep you on track and working on one of the most important factors in achieving your goals: consistency.
Results
The use of scientifically based training methods, habit forming techniques, and individualized recommendations will get you to your goals (and beyond)!
Training
Training individualized to your goals: whether you need to improve cardiovascular endurance, improve joint stability, build strength, or increase flexibility, there is a variety of training styles available to you:
Strength Training a combination of hypertrophy, endurance, & power. Isolated into body splits (upper, lower, and core) as well as full body options.
Cardiovascular Conditioning interval training, steady state, and the opportunity to infuse a little more fun into your routine with dance cardio)
Flexibility & Mobility increased through active range of motion work and a combination of static and dynamic stretches.
Stability & Coordination incorporated into every session via joint conditioning and functional movement patterns.
Effective Programming through periodization and balancing specificity with variety. By training in sprints (a specified period of increasing intensity then recovery), we’re utilizing periodization, a training concept that increases overall progress, decreases risk of injury, and prevents burnout and/or overtraining, creating an effective and sustainable program for the long term.
Nutrition
A non-restrictive, balanced approach through education and actionable steps to keep you properly fueled and feeling good. Not a one-size fits all plan and focuses on your individual needs:
Macro & micronutrients (the nutrients our body needs to survive and thrive)
Caloric needs (how much fuel your body need for training)
Hydration (and the role it plays in cognitive and physical function)
Finding balance (treating yourself without overindulging)
Support
Individualized support and accountability!
No matter how effective a program is, you can only see results if you stick to it. Studies show that sticking to a routine and reaching your goals is greatly influenced by your support system (or lack thereof). Mvmnt Method has that support system already built in: a group of like minded individuals to share in your experience and connect with, as well as direct, 1-on-1 access to and accountability from your trainer.
Individualized programming and guidance!
You will have an initial 1-on-1 session with your trainer to talk about your goals, establish a starting point, and determine the training styles and sprint length that works best for your individual lifestyle, goals, and motivational needs. After this session, you will receive a fillable, personalized training schedule for you to mark your attendance, track your progress, complete weekly check-ins, and access end of sprint training reflections (see “Results” for more info).
Results
We take the SMART approach to achieving your goals:
Specific - the more specific we can make our goals, the more achievable they become, reducing confusion on what we’re really working towards, how to get there, and what it looks like to actually achieve it!
Measurable - being able to quantify our progress gives us the data we need in order to know whether we are actually making progress.
Achievable - considering both internal and external factors such as your current fitness level and schedule are crucial in setting achievable goals.
Relevant/Realistic - our goals should be in line with our current values and priorities. If you want to increase your hamstring flexibility, you’re not going to achieve it by training your bench press. Your training style should be relevant to your goals.
Timely - setting a time-frame and deadline allows you to plan your routine in advance and provide you with a clear target to aim for. This helps to maintain motivation, increase adherence, and takes the guesswork out of how long you should expect to see results.
Progress tracking: You don’t need to guess at whether or not you’re making progress. Tracking progress is simple, effective, and, like your training, is individualized to you and your goals.

What members are saying
“Mackenzie is an excellent instructor who understands everyone’s body is unique and we’re not all athletes. All bodies are accepted and appreciated! She helps this non-athlete understand how to exercise and move better and become stronger. There’s a sense of fun and sincere support in every class. Quick to notice bad form or my frustration, she knows how to redirect in constructive ways. I have never stuck with an instructor for 3 years! The classes (and recordings if I miss a class) are fun, make me laugh, and get me moving within a social setting. These are all vital ingredients to physical and emotional wellness!”

“After a bunch of health problems and becoming disabled, I needed to stay in physical shape but I never had a trainer before. Mackenzie has a unique ability to bring out the best in yourself, and I love how she made me want to work out. There should be more Mackenzies in the world.”
-John
“Always look forward to 9am! The group classes are really motivating and great for not just physical well-being but also for mental well-being. Mackenzie is very upbeat and energetic and makes the classes fun as well as difficult, and she always has modifications for anyone with specific issues. It has been the best!”
